This literacy bag will be used to promote a home/school connection.  This is the "Birthday Bag!" and will be sent home on a child's birthday to share with their family.  The bag includes games and books and the child will have the chance to create a page for a classroom book.

A poster created while conducting an author study on the children's author, Oliver Jeffers.  

 This display was created while completing a biography of Clara Barton. The display includes several primary sources and a timeline of her life.

This is "Burt's Bag" that will be taken home and shared with the family.  Students have the chance to share what Burt did at their house in our classroom book.  There is a BINGO game and stories to be shared.

Geography unit in a box! This box contains books, lesson plans, objects and maps all relating to the five themes of geography.


A classroom family quilt that was a collaboration of our cohort.  We each created a square to represent our family as it was while we were growing up and our family as it is today.
